Warranties

Parts we sell are covered by the manufacturer warranty unless the product page says otherwise. After Hours Auto Parts does not have a warranty of its own, so claims are filed with the manufacturer, and this page explains how that works.

1.What Is Covered

Warranty terms vary by part. You will usually find them on the manufacturer website or printed on the product packaging.

  • Parts covered by the manufacturer warranty, unless the product page notes otherwise
  • Most high performance parts, which carry no warranty because they are used in racing vehicles
  • Cash refunds, or reimbursement of labor, shipping or other costs

2.Who It Covers

A warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. It also applies only to the vehicle the part was originally installed on.

3.Making a Claim

File warranty claims directly with the manufacturer. Hold on to your After Hours Auto Parts invoice or receipt, because most manufacturers ask for proof of purchase.

An item under manufacturer warranty is inspected by the manufacturer before any refund is processed.

Manufacturers can change their warranty terms at any time without notice, so check the current terms with them before you buy if a warranty matters to your decision.
