Description
This DPST Master Disconnect Switch is designed for managing two high current loads in 6-36V DC systems. It features two positions: Off-On, and is capable of disconnecting both the battery and the alternator or generator field circuit.
- Electrical Ratings: 125A continuous, 750A intermittent (15 seconds On, 5 minutes Off).
- Voltage: Up to 36V DC maximum.
- Contact Surfaces: Silver for optimal conductivity.
- Insulation: Both poles are separately insulated.
- Studs: Four 3/8 inch -24 studs are provided, each with a lockwasher and two brass hexnuts.
- Mounting Stem: Features a 3/4 inch -16 brass mounting stem with an O-ring seal.
- Sealing: Gasket seal at the terminal insulator and epoxy seal at the case, mounting stem, and locating pin for enhanced durability.
- Case: Heavy duty plated steel case with an indexing pin.
- Operating Temperature: -40 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to 29 degrees Celsius).
- Torque Specifications: Mounting torque 20 foot pounds (27Nm); stud torque 4.4 to 7.4 foot pounds (6-10Nm).
