Description
This front door central switch assembly is designed for alarm systems.
Motorcraft Alarm Switch Assemblies are built to meet Ford's stringent OE quality, performance, and durability standards. They undergo Key Life testing equivalent to 10 years / 150,000 miles for passenger cars and light trucks.
These assemblies pass a series of rigorous functional and materials tests to ensure durability, functionality, and long life. Tests include proper electrical functionality, material fatigue, mechanical and vibration use-life/endurance, exposure to dust, water, and car wash detergent, corrosion resistance (salt spray testing), and extreme temperature operation.
Why Buy:
- These are the only parts recommended by Ford Motor Company for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles.
- The Motorcraft Alarm Switch Assembly is a single-pole/single-throw, normally closed, grounding-type door-ajar switch.
- It mounts in the vehicle's door latch and triggers the alarm system when an open door causes an open or broken circuit to ground.
- Engineered and manufactured to exact Ford OE specifications to ensure OE quality and performance.
- Includes any engineering innovations or product improvements that have occurred since the vehicle's delivery, ensuring the most current technology.
