Description
This Wix Premium Air Filter provides excellent engine protection for normal and severe driving conditions, including dirt roads, construction sites, stop-and-go traffic, short trips, and interstate travel.
It contains 30% more media than OES filters and utilizes a phenolic resin treated cellulose media, which includes glass and polyester, to ensure excellent durability against moisture ingestion. With an efficiency of 99.5%, this Wix Premium panel air filter is designed to trap 3X the contaminants of leading competitor filters. The polyurethane seal offers high tear strength and withstands extreme hot and cold conditions. Furthermore, the expanded metal reinforcement, featuring a large diamond pattern, is engineered to improve air flow and reduce restriction.

OEM or aftermarket?
An OEM part is made by, or for, the company that built the vehicle and carries their branding. An aftermarket part is made by another manufacturer to fit the same application, usually for less. Quality runs from below OEM to above it depending on the brand, so the name on the box matters more than the label.
